When making any choice in life, you have two options: A hard one, and an easy one. And while the easy one might make you arrive at your destination faster, you’re also more likely to fall off your track faster. For that, at Pickdevs, we always choose the harder option. It’s filled with a lot of obstacles and challenges, but it’s a sure way we can stay on top, as it has allowed us to have more experiences, grow, and try and fail until we’ve expanded on every possibility and solution.
Picking our target
When we started our journey with Pickdevs, we were keen on creating a customized relatable experience that will make every client feel at home when on our website, because, let’s face it, it can be a bit of hassle searching for someone to hire, especially in the developing field. The first hard choice we made, was the decision to develop the website from scratch without using any templates. Depending only on our creativity, hard work, and a group of fresh talents who are filled with passion. So, after creating a wireframe draft that allowed us to understand who our website should target and what work needed to be done; we communicated the wireframe with our team and execution began.
Picking our solution
Finding the perfect candidate to work for your business is not that easy, it’s time-consuming, demands a lot of effort, and can even feel like you’re in a maze with no way out and lots of options to choose from. And that maze was our inspiration when it came to offering a solution to our clients. We recognized the maze and declared Pickdevs as the solution. With our maze- inspired logo as a stamp marking our discovery.
Picking our tool
It’s always better to follow someone you can trust, and that is why we wanted be as relatable as possible. We drew out a bunch of characters to speak for our brand on paper then brought them to life with the help of ClayBoom. Polymer clay was used to create our diverse characters that represent different shapes, styles, ethnicities, and needs; therefore, catering to every type of client. With every character, a new story emerged which we accompanied by an animation that brings life into each character and makes browsing the website even more of an immersive experience.
Picking our display
Wrapping up our creation, it was now time to share it with our clients! We had a photo session showcasing our characters in their natural elements being raw, creative, and relatable. The pictures were the final touch that gave Pickdev’s website an element of uniqueness we dedicated so much time to attain, and thankfully, the job was done!
These are all the reasons why we chose the harder option, why we decided to dedicate our time and energy into a project that will surely prove successful. For hard work is never but a way to cultivate success, and at Pickdevs, that is our promise!
